The Engagement of the charming trans-Atlantic comedienne, Miss Edna May, of 'Belle of New York' fame, will probably attract a very large audience to the Brighton Palace Pier Sunday evening concert tomorrow. With Brighton folk, Edna May is not so much a persona grata as other "stars" of the musical comedy world, and the popular interest in a dainty and bewitching personality is likely to manifest itself to a considerable degree.

Quite an ovation greeted Miss Edna May, the charming vocalist. She was specially successful in her delightful interpretation of Von Tiltzen's "Lonesome" and such pretty items as "To-morrow" and "If the boy was me," were listened to with keen enjoyment. The Artiste had to respond to several encores.

... Her soft, flaxen style of beauty has never been quite done justice to by her countless photographs, and with sweet, delicate features of fawn - like grace and masses of pale golden, shadow - lurking hair drawn down over ears the tiny lobes of which just peeped from beneath their silky veils, she looked very captivating. And the pale pink "princess" robe she wore added a picture - esqueness to a gracefully gliding figure.
